La Chasse-Galerie

La Chasse-Galerie is located in the heart of the Petit Champlain district, near Place Royal. Since 1991, the boutique proposes a cultural voyage through a beautiful diversity of products inspired by native amercian and inuit nations.

The authenticity of the products made by artisans from first nation communities of Quebec, Canada and the United States is respected. Within the walls of the house of Roy (1724) and the house of Leduc (1725), you will find a vast selection of mocassins, dreamcatchers, jewellery, furs, sculptures, knives, carpets and clothing that will please everyone. A unique shopping experience where the senses are stimulated through native american art and the history of French America.

Le Sachem

Established in the 1980’s, Le Sachem, which means “grand chief” in the algonquin language, is a boutique situated in Old Quebec city. In proximity of the Château Frontenac and city hall, Le Sachem reflects native american tradition through a vast choice of quality products. Native american art is found under all kinds of forms via a selection of inukshuks, kachina dolls, musical instruments, pottery, artefacts, scrimshaw, peace pipes, mukluks, etc. Both collector and novice will be satisfied. A stop that is worth a detour as much for the tourist than for the Quebecer who is looking for an original gift.
